The Diary Has Handles (june 2026-ongoing)

is Nunziata’s newest body of work, extending her practice into a direct relationship with text. While the Blobettes externalize emotion through character, gesture, and myth, these vessels bring confession to the surface through handwritten poems. Each vase treats the ceramic form as both body and diary: an object made to hold, but also to reveal. The poems sit on the ceramic skin like a bruise, a joke, a secret, or a prayer. Together, the works suggest a shift from invented deity toward personal testimony, while maintaining the humor and emotional excess that define Nunziata’s practice.
